What a Tasty
Looking Burger.
WHAT A TASTY LOOKING BURGER is a site-specific public work, perched on the rocks at Bondi, Australia. The work was the recipient of the 2017 Transfield Invited Artists Program for Sculpture by the Sea.
Attached to the burger is a giant fish hook and a rope that spreads out to sea, suggesting that for once we humans may be the ones who are prey. Or, simply put, the fish are now fishing.
in 2019, the work was subsequently selected as a permanent work on Granite Island, South Australia.
