Near and Far.

NEAR AND FAR is permanent, data-driven steel sculpture at the heart of The Hills Grammar School, Sydney. Installed in 2023, the work interprets live weather data, allowing the LED numerals to indicate how many kilometres away an actual lightning bolt is from the sculpture in real time.

NEAR AND FAR questions the passive approach of waiting for a bolt of inspiration, instead encouraging students to embrace the power of their own actions.
