Hot With The Chance
of a Late Storm.

HOT WITH THE CHANCE OF A LATE STORM is a site-specific public work, commissioned for the 2013 Sculpture by the Sea, Sydney, Australia.

Curated by Axel Arnott, the exhibition hosted works by 138 international artists and is the world’s largest free-to-the-public outdoor sculpture exhibition with over half a million visitors every year.

Positioned on Tamarama Beach, the work won the People’s Choice award and was described as ‘daft but brilliant’ by Sebastian Smee of The Australian. The work was chosen for the cover of ‘Wild Art’, a Phaidon publication celebrating artists who challenge the art establishment.

The work was subsequently selected in 2024 to exhibit at the 25th anniversary of Sculpture by the Sea.
